Please help us congratulate the outstanding achievement of Lakeside Middle School’s VEX Robotics team, Botzilla-30041B, at the VEX Robotics World Championship 2026.
The team has demonstrated exceptional performance throughout this season. At the Georgia VEX IQ Robotics Competition State Championship (Middle School), held on February 28, 2026, they secured first place in the final state rankings. Building on this success, they participated in the VEX Robotics U.S. Open held in Iowa from March 25 to 29, where they achieved an impressive third-place finish overall in the tournament.
At the World Championship, the team secured 3rd place in their division and achieved an overall world ranking of 11th out of 418 teams representing 52 countries. This is a remarkable accomplishment that reflects not only the hard work and talent of the students, but also positively represents Lakeside Middle School on an international stage.
