Good Friday reminds us that before resurrection came sacrifice. Before victory came surrender. Before everything changed… it looked like everything was lost.

A small group of believers once sat in that space—confused, grieving, holding onto the promises of God without yet seeing how they would unfold.

And even now, in some of the hardest places on earth, there are faithful men and women standing in that same kind of moment—praying, waiting, trusting God in the quiet before what comes next.

Because the truth is…
Before resurrection, there was sacrifice.
Before Pentecost, there was an upper room.
Before breakthrough, there is always waiting.

And before Sunday comes, we sit here—remembering the cross, holding onto hope, and trusting that God is still moving… even in the silence.

God is at work in powerful ways through local believers around the world.

In the midst of hardship, persecution, and personal sacrifice, men and women are courageously sharing the hope of Jesus in their communities. From East Africa to India to Indonesia, lives are being transformed as ordinary people faithfully say yes to God.

Their stories remind us that the Gospel continues to move forward—even in the most difficult places.
