The story of the starfish thrower.

One morning, an elderly man was walking on a nearly deserted beach, where thousands of starfish had been washed ashore by a storm. Further along the beach, he saw a young girl picking up starfish one by one and throwing them back into the ocean.
Approaching the girl, the man observed that there were far too many starfish on the beach; it seemed impossible that her efforts would make any significant difference. He remarked, "There are thousands of starfish here. What difference can you possibly make?"

The girl picked up another starfish, tossed it back into the sea, and replied, "It made a difference to that one."

Primary Lesson of the Parable:

Even small actions can have a big impact. It teaches us that making a difference in the world doesn't always mean solving huge problems or changing the entire system.

Sometimes, it's about doing what we can, where we are, with what we have.
