I had a client book a consultation…

She filled out my required intake form
…in the SAME email thread of her confirmation email and Zoom link literally within moments of her scheduled appointment.

1 PM comes and goes - no show.

Then 2½ hours later… she pops into my Zoom like
“Okay I’m ready now.”

Ma’am… what? 😐

Then follows up asking to reschedule…
AND proceeds to say I could’ve reminded her… the tone of her email basically blaming me for missing her consult.

Now let me say this respectfully but clearly:

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲.

As business owners, professionals, and adults in general…
𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

If you book time - honor it.
If you can’t - communicate.
If you miss it - own it.

Simple.

Because the moment we start blaming others for what we didn’t do…
that’s the moment growth stops.

And respectfully… those are not the type of clients I choose to work with.
