ATTENTION: If your power goes out.....Publix has a freezer chest with dry ice (if they're not sold out of it) wrap each brick in aluminum foil and put one on each shelf of the freezer. For the fridge lay the bricks on a sheet of foil on the top shelf of the fridge and away from fresh fruits and vegetables so as to not freeze them

Which is better, a Top Load or Front Load Washer?
There are a number of facts to learn in order to make a good decision, our first fact to understand is that it is not soap that cleans your clothes, it is the mechanical action of those clothes rotating from the top of the tank to the bottom that cleans. As this action takes place the fibers within the garment are worked all directions with water acting as the lubricant causing it to breaks down the dirt and grime that gets packed in between the fibers.
On a top load washer you have a horizontal devise (the agitator) that is moving back and forth in a vertical tank to rotate the load from the top to the bottom and back up again. With this design that motion of rotating from top to bottom will occur anywhere from 20 to 30 times within a 15 minutes wash cycle which is the mechanical action that we're looking for.
On a front load washer you have paddles that are attached to the sides of a horizontal tank, as the tank rotates from the bottom to the top clockwise six times then reveres to a counter-clockwise rotation again six times. As this happens the paddles lift the wet clothes from the bottom and when it gets to the top the clothes fall back to the bottom which creates the mechanical action we want. The big difference in this design is that the mechanical action were looking for takes place over 500 times in the same 15 minutes as the top loader's 30 rotation.
So because of this difference a Front Load unit will use less soap, less water and still clean your clothes much better than the Top Load washer.
Now, because I have been told this is way to much text to list at one time, more facts will be posted at a later time to give you more knowledge you need to answer, which is better, a top load or front load washer.

If you remove your bottom refrigerator grill & see something like this 1st picture, know you need to give it attention & not ignore this important maintenance task for your condenser coil.
To start off let's learn why you need to care, there is a law know as Boyle's gas law which in simple terms states that as temperature increase so does the pressure within a closed system. So when you see dirt, dust and pet hair surrounding your coil like the 1st picture, it is acting as an insulator holding the heat & keeping it from being removed thus increasing the temperature and the pressure of the freon.
This causes two adverse things to happen, 1) the compressor must work at a higher head pressure robbing it of life and 2) your unit will have to run longer to bring down the temp thus wasting electricity.
For free standing refrigerators you can use a brush like the 2nd picture shown, this or one like it can be found at your local hardware store. Be sure to use your vacuum cleaner when using the brush to keep down the dust. Once you clean it from front to back the first time, you may need to only use the brush once a year and just use your vacuum cleaner alone. The 3rd pic shows what a clean condenser is going to look like.
Also for built-in refrigerators just because the condenser is at the top, don't think you have less to worry about, those units use very strong fans that pull a lot of air which will cause the same wasteful problems.

If you ever open your dishwasher and see dirty water like this in the tank, we may not be the service you need. Check to see if the dishes are clean, if they are, your problem may be a slow drain in the house plumbing not the dishwasher. Most dishwasher drain applications hook up directly to the garbage disposal under the sink and a slow drain will force the gray water back into your dishwasher.
However if you see that the dishes are dirty, you would want to get the water out and check the filters and drain line for any blockage or give us a call and we'll get your unit back to it's full function.
