Josh Geary of New Zealand fired a final round three under par 69 in tough conditions to hold off Wade Binfield and capture the 2013 PSPGT Wild Wing Cafe Classic. Geary, a Nationwide Tour veteran, came from four shots down to grab the title. With bad weather forecast for tomorrow, the PSPGT decided to play 36 holes today to finish the 54 hole event. Players teed off at 8:00 this morning and the afternoon round began play at 2:00. The bad weather came early in the final round as players had to again deal with cool wet conditions for most of the final round. Kyle Scott began the final round with a two shot lead at three under par but ran into trouble on the sixteenth hole. A double bogey left him two behind Geary. Kyle finished in a tie for third place with Denny Lucas. Wade Binfield had a final round one under 71 and had a real good chance for birdie on the final hole to tie Geary but his putt did a 180 degree lip out. Binfield finished in second place for the second consecutive week but he was the overall all winner of the Wild Wing Cafe Macon Series Bonus. Binfield earned $4500 for the series and takes home a bonus of $700. Kyle Scott finished second in the bonus pool to take home a bonus of $400. Jon Kennedy, last weeks winner at Hawkinsville finished in third place in the bonus pool and takes home a bonus of $290. The PSPGT will be off next week before heading to Athens Georgia for the Jennings Mill Classic on April 15th and 16th.

Jon Kennedy wins the 2013 PSPGT Southern Hills Classic with a two day total of three under par. Kennedy fought off a tough field and brutal weather conditions as low temps and high winds made playing conditions extremely tough. Kennedy opened with a four under par 68 and finished today at 73 to edge out Wade Binfield by one shot. Both players shared or held the lead during a back and forth final round. Kennedy holed a three foot par put for the win after Binfield's bid to get up and down on the final hole just missed. This was the second year in a row that Binfield finished in 2nd at Southern Hills. Joe Young and Denny Lucas both fired one under par 71 today and finished in a tie for third place, two behind Kennedy. Brett Lange rounds out the top five after a one over par finish...very solid play considering the very tough condtions. The PSPGT moves onto the Brickyard at Riverside for the final leg of the Wild Wing Cafe Macon series. Play begins Tuesday in the fifty four hole event.
