Heading home after spending a few days in Italy with some wonderful travel industry colleagues. Such a fantastic time experiencing Baglioni Hotels and Resorts. First stop was Rome at the . Stunning, historical hotel that was once the residence of the Queen of Italy. It’s just down the street from the Spanish steps and across the street from the American Embassy. One of the many activities the hotel can arrange is a city tour on a vintage Fiat 500! Huge score - found the best gelato in Rome on this trip!

It's Global Travel Advisor Day! Did you know that you are actually paying for a travel advisor when you book that trip on your own? Whether it's a cruise, hotel, all-inclusive resort, Disney trip, group tour - there is a commission built into the price! If you don't book with a travel agent, that commission will go back to the cruise/hotel/resort/etc. instead of going to your agent! So why would you pay for a service only to not use it? There are so many benefits of using a travel agent to book your trip even if you want to do all the planning yourself. If you run into an issue while on your trip, would you rather spend your day on the phone or at a front desk dealing with it, or would you rather shoot a text to your agent and ask her to deal with it while you enjoy your day?
