When I chose the wellness path… when I decided to build something rooted in healing, the vast majority people didn’t fully get it.. Hell, some still don’t.

“Massage?”
“In Albany?”
“Is that sustainable?”

It wasn’t flashy, but I make it look easy.
It wasn’t a quick-money move, even when it appears that way to those who think they can do it for that reason.
It wasn’t trendy, although it was believed to be.

It was necessary.

I’ve watched people carry stress in their shoulders like armor.
I’ve felt grief sitting heavy in backs and hips.
I’ve seen how survival hardens the body.

And I knew our community deserved more than survival.

So I train, continuously.
I perfect my craft, daily.
I create a sacred space, religiously.

Even when bookings were slow.
Even when people underestimated the work.
Even when I had to reinvest every dollar back into the vision.

Wellness entrepreneurship is not soft work.

It is long hours on your feet.
It is holding space for other people’s trauma while tending to your own.
It is continuing when you’re tired.
It is believing in your hands when the numbers don’t yet reflect the impact.

This work has stretched me.

But it has also healed me.

Because every time someone exhales on my table…
Every time a man says, “I didn’t realize how much I needed this”…
Every time a woman leaves lighter than she walked in…

I am reminded:

This is apart of my purpose.

Building a wellness sanctuary in Southwest Georgia is not for the faint of heart.

I am creating a culture shift.
Where rest is respected.
Where touch is therapeutic.
Where Black people don’t have to earn softness.

If you see me expanding…
If you see me building something bigger…
If you see me protecting my energy more fiercely…

Understand this:

You are witnessing alignment, not ambition.

And this is only the beginning.
