The Garden Early Learning Academy: Re-Opening Guidelines:

With the loosening of Georgia’s stay-at-home rules due to COVID-19, more parents are being called back to work and many are searching tirelessly for childcare. The Garden Early Learning Academy hears your situations and we have decided to re-open with strict social distancing guidelines.

We are abiding by Governor Kemp's re-opening guidelines by implanting these changes in our school:

- All students and staff will be required to wear masks while in school and on school property.

- All students and staff will undergo mandatory temperature screenings at the start and end of each day. A temperature at or above 100.4 will not be allowed entry into the facility for the safety of remaining staff and students.

- Hand washing before and after meals, using the restroom, and entry into premises will be also be strictly enforced.

- Along with temperature screenings and hand-washing protocols, our staff will also be watching for coughing and shortness of breath from all attendees. Staff must also be beware of difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and a newly lost sense of taste or smell. Monitoring of staff and student’s symptoms will be a priority during this time.

- Lastly, our school will deeply clean and disinfect our facility at the end of each day in preparation for the next school day.

Our priority here at the academy is the safety of our students and staff. We appreciate the continued support during this unprecedented time and we encourage you to please take the necessary precautions to keep yourself, your families, and the broader community safe.
