I was a Senior in high school when I first believed God was calling me to communicate the gospel.

I had no idea what that would look like.

I didn’t want to sit in the pulpit.

I didn’t want to be a pastor.

I didn’t even want a title.

I just wanted to speak and write.

And then I discovered She Speaks and realized there was a whole army of women just like me.

So I saved $100 a month by foregoing Starbucks, pedicures, and new clothes so I could afford the registration.

Then I asked a sister friend if I could stay at her house and I drove myself to She Speaks in my little red Ford Es**rt (without air conditioning).

That was in 2015.

I had no idea one day God would open the door for me to be a recurring speaker and this year to do the morning keynote.

Only God!
