Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Y’all sure know how to make a girl feel special. While I’ve been busy smashing goals, my closest loved ones made sure I stopped to smell my roses (and blow out my candles). I thank God for allowing me to see another year and for blessing me with the desires of my heart as He sees fit. 💞🙏🏽

So, I did a thing. For the past year and a half, I’ve been cutting off the heat-damaged hair “hoping” the front would catch up to the back 🤞🏽. HOW? NEGATIVE... So I had to cut about 3” off the back. 😩 BUT I didn't do a big chop... 💯 for ALL the effort it took not to get scissors happy. Lol... So after four big chops and a minor setback, it's time for a major come back 💁🏽♀️... This natural hair journey has been long and hard for me (with three hair textures/curl patterns). However, I’m going to pay more attention to my hair by coming up with a new weekly or bi-weekly regimen to keep my tresses moisturized and protected.
