Sometime you come across the right color.

Not all flowers make good cut flowers. Well maybe they do, but the color or shade that is the most well known doesn’t work. This is a newish variety of Silene armeria. I’m not sure of the cultivar because it was a sample from a South American grower. Its name is Summer something. If you know I would love to know too, please share!!

The foliage and stems looks and feels just like lisianthus. This bunch of flowers lasted a couple of weeks from when I received them. That’s on top of traveling at least 3-4 days from the farm.

I’ve found a hot pink version that I don’t really love, but this blush, fading to white is very special. 🥰 What do you think??
