Grace Moncrief, a Cancer through and through, is all about creating magic behind the chair with her vivid color transformations and effortlessly cool, shaggy layers. Fueled by iced vanilla lattes and inspiration from her style icon, Hayley Williams, she’s always ready to bring her clients’ dream hair to life. Whether she’s belting out tunes to “Into the Rift” by Quarters of Change on her drive to work or reminiscing about her favorite career moment—teaching a lived-in vivid class at her alma mater—Grace is passionate about making each person who sits in her chair feel like the best version of themselves.

Hailing from Sandy Springs, Georgia, and a proud graduate of Gwinnett Technical College, Grace has a creative spirit that extends beyond hair. When she’s not rock climbing or playing the drums, you’ll find her curled up in bed with her cat, controller in hand, mastering Zelda as her ultimate form of self-care. With her favorite product, Metal Detox, always on hand, she’s ready to tackle any hair challenge with kindness, patience, and a little touch of magic.

At Helmet Hairworx, Grace found the perfect environment for her creativity to flow, and she loves being part of a team that encourages her to grow her knowledge and skills. She lives by the words of the wise Spongebob: “If you believe in yourself and with a tiny pinch of magic, all your dreams can come true.” And, speaking of magic, her hidden talent? She’s a beta Mario Kart champion (though she might be humble about it). With a love for bourbon pumpkin candles and chocolate pretzels, Grace is the type of stylist who listens deeply, dreams big, and never stops chasing her creative passions. If she were an animal? Without a doubt, she’d be a cat—fierce, curious, and always landing on her feet.
