Georgia CTI
The Georgia Career and Technical Instruction (CTI) support service is designed to assist high school students with disabilities enrolled in CTAE courses.
The G.R.O.W. programs at Chestatee High School and Flowery Branch High School have been packed with hands-on learning, career exploration, self-advocacy, and fun!
Students have explored a wide variety of careers and industries through visits to Goodwill Career Center, Champion Aviation Services at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport, the Hall County School District Farm, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and local businesses. Along the way, they learned about employability skills, interview attire, financial wellness, agriculture, aviation, sustainability, sports and entertainment careers, and workplace expectations.
Students also participated in self-advocacy lessons, explored community resources, connected with industry professionals, and gained real-world experience that will help them prepare for future education and employment opportunities.
From fashion shows and farm tours to airport hangars and stadium locker rooms, G.R.O.W. students are building skills, confidence, and connections while discovering new possibilities for their futures. We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!

All work and no play? Not at CTSO/CTI Officer Training! 🎉
While leadership training includes workshops, goal setting, and learning important skills, some of the most valuable lessons happen when our officers are simply spending time together.
Team bonding isn't just about having fun. It's about building trust, learning how to communicate, discovering each other's strengths, and figuring out how to work through challenges as a team. Every game, conversation, and shared experience helps create the foundation for a leadership team that can support one another, solve problems together, and navigate conflict when it arises.
The strongest teams aren't built in a classroom alone. They're built through shared experiences, laughter, challenges, and connections.
We're excited to watch this group continue to grow into a team that leads with confidence, collaboration, and purpose. The future is bright for Georgia CTI! 💙
Part 2 of CTSO Officer Training is in the books! 🎉
This weekend, our Georgia CTI State Officers had the opportunity to collaborate with state officers from other Georgia CTSOs, building leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills alongside some of the best student leaders in the state.
While the weather had other plans and only a few officers were able to tackle the mud course, that didn't stop the learning, laughter, and team building. Every challenge became an opportunity to grow, connect, and strengthen relationships.
We are incredibly proud of the way this team is already coming together. Their willingness to learn, support one another, and step outside their comfort zones is setting the stage for an amazing year ahead.
The future is bright for Georgia CTI, and we can't wait to see all the great things these leaders will accomplish together!

Leadership starts with showing up ready to learn.
This weekend, our Georgia CTI State Officers are at CTSO Officer Training, building the skills that great leaders need to succeed. They're learning how to lead by example, communicate effectively, represent their organization with professionalism, and challenge themselves to grow.
Being a leader isn't about having a title. It's about stepping up, setting the standard, and helping others succeed.
We can't wait to see how these outstanding students use what they're learning to make an impact this year. 💙
