It all started March 21..Seems like forever ago and we had no idea what was in store😩.
Came back from Jamaica on March 2, and had a conversation with Mary Stowell at Stillwell's Emporium in Stone Mountain that we should have a class teaching people how to make masks😷
They were so few tutorials on YouTube at that time and it just seemed like a far-fetched idea.
Then came the unexpected 😩😩😩
I put out an appeal for people to partner with me in making masks for frontline health workers. Made a video tutorial and all😁😁That was a true test for me🤪
Fast forward 2 months...
With the help of these amazing people,(I'll tag all of you🤗) we were able to donate close to 1000 masks😷🤗 to area hospitals, nursing facilities etc..We were also asked to make masks for MARTA, and the Mask Sewing growth group at Mountain West Church(I love my church🤗) completed and donated 300 units..
Thanks to allllll who made it possible 🤗❤️❤️ Team work and a heart for service made this possible..

And yes, I continue to sew and make them.. Sewing is my super power😁.
