You already know how to lose weight.

That’s what makes this so frustrating.

Most women who find us aren’t beginners.

They’ve done the diets.
Done the workouts.
Hired the coaches.
Gotten results.

And still watched it disappear the moment life got heavy.

That’s why Cara’s story hits.

She worked in fitness.
She knew exactly what to do.

But none of it stayed.

Because the real problem was never information.

It was the identity she was building from.

Single mom.
Always working.
Always surviving.
Always expecting the worst because life had taught her to.

So when her body changed, she thought that was the problem.

It wasn’t.

It was the moment everything underneath her finally surfaced.

And once she saw that?

Everything shifted.

Because she stopped building her worth on things that can disappear overnight.

If you’ve done everything “right” and still feel stuck, this episode will hit differently.

She came to me thinking she needed to lose weight.

That's what most women think.

Cara was running a gym. She already knew workouts. She already knew nutrition. She'd already tried the hormones, the doctors, the fitness plans.

None of that was the real problem.

What she actually needed was herself back.

She told me something I'll never forget:

"I had given up."

Not on fitness.

On herself.

Years of building her identity around taking care of everyone else, performing, achieving, holding it all together had left her feeling disconnected from who she was.

And like so many women, she thought menopause was the problem.

It wasn't.

The weight was the symptom.

The exhaustion was the symptom.

The feeling of being lost was the symptom.

What was really happening was an identity transition.

Today she's 58.

Leading at one of the largest fitness franchises in the country.

More confident. More capable. More herself.

That's why I keep saying:

You don't need another thing to blame.

You need to learn who you're becoming.
