Nzambi Matee, a Kenyan materials engineer, is turning plastic waste into bricks that are 5 to 7 times stronger than concrete through her company, Gjenge Makers. Founded in 2018, her factory now recycles over 20 tonnes of plastic waste and produces 1,500 eco-friendly bricks daily. Her innovative process offers a sustainable, affordable solution to plastic pollution in Africa. 🌍🧱
