It’s finally that time✨ A time where the days will gradually become longer and warmer, leading to the emergence of new life and growth🌱. The spring equinox has long been celebrated in various cultures and religions around the world & here at Divine Tribe we mark this time as our . This time is often associated with renewal, rebirth, and new beginnings. For example, the ancient Mayans built the of Chichen Itza to align with the spring equinox, and many cultures celebrate the event as a time of and new growth. During the spring and fall equinoxes, a special effect occurs on the pyramid's main staircase. As the Sun sets, the shadow of the pyramid creates the illusion of a snake slithering down the stairs. This snake-shaped shadow is believed to represent the feathered serpent god , who was a significant figure in Mayan mythology.
For the Mayans, the spring equinox was an important time of the year because it marked the beginning of the planting season. It was a time of renewal and growth, and the alignment of the pyramid with the equinox served as a way to honor their agricultural traditions and the gods that governed them. Also this time may be celebrated by honoring Ostre, Goddess of the egg and the hare. During spring some ppl paint eggs in half light colors and half day to symbolize the balance of dark moon time and solar light. We know there’s nothing new under the sun ☀️. Take advantage of the cycles & provide. This is a great time for reflection of the harmony and balance ☯️that exists in our natural world, and being & aware is an important way for you to connect with the cycles of the universe🌍.
