The note I just got from my silk supplier. People don’t realize how badly these tariffs are affecting small businesses. The big billion dollar companies can absorb these costs. I cannot.

“Please note we have started to add 10% on all invoices to reflect the 4/5/25 10% baseline import tariff. We held out for as long as we could.

Also a heads up the reciprocal tariffs (25% for South Korea) was pushed back until August 1st and we will have to address that accordingly when the time comes. Hopefully a trade deal is made and it can be reduced/removed.”
