Never let someone else’s fears keep you from taking the risks you need to take. They may be trying to help you but if they have never done what you’re trying to do, how can they give you good advice? People are scared to follow their own dreams, so if that type of person cares about you they are going to try and implant their own insecurities in your head. They think they are keeping you safe but haven’t overcome the demons inside their own head. It’s a must to forge your own path. Take calculated risks. Those same people love to say I told you so when you have setbacks, but keep going. Your failures make you better. When you reach your goal they will be there smiling in disbelief amazed that you did it. Then they will want to know how. When you tell them it may inspire them or it may make them even more scared because of everything you went through to get where you’re at. Either way, you have to do you and follow your purpose. Let your inner confidence drown out the voices of fear and doubt.
