Happiest Mother’s Day to this incredible mom! We love you so much ! Hope all the moms out there today have a wonderful day you all deserve it.

Every competition, you always look back, critique your performance, and evaluate what went well, what could have improved, and what you can do differently next time.
As I look back at this past weekend, if I’m honest, it felt like my confidence was off. I found myself second guessing my plans, not trusting myself, and being somewhat timid. I’m not sure what the cause was yet, but there are things I’ll be putting into place over the next three weeks to take what just happened and learn from it.
I’ll be journaling daily about my headspace where my focus is, what can be improved, external distractions, and incorporating meditation. Competition has a funny way of exposing areas that need improving, and for me right now, that’s where it’s at.
Physically, I felt good, but mentally I was just in a rut. This sport is tough, and there are plenty of ups and downs, but being able to step back and see what I can work on is what matters most.
After all these years, I’m still striving to learn and grow not just as an athlete, but as a father and husband as well. I know it’s going to be tough, but that’s the point you have to want it.
Let’s see what we can get dialed in before Syndicate.
