Yesterday we got to spend the afternoon with Michael Gellert! We learned so much, added more artistry to our music, and explored new ways to bring even more expression to the songs we love to sing.
We laughed a lot, sang a lot, and soaked up every minute of making music together. Weekends like this remind us how lucky we are to share this hobby and this friendship!
Heading home with full hearts, lots of great memories, and so much excitement for Sweet Adeline’s Region 14 contest in April! 🎶✨

Singing 16th at Regional in April!!! ✨
We are SO excited to take the stage together and finally share all the work we’ve been putting in behind the scenes. There’s nothing like those few minutes under the lights doing what we love. 🎶
And getting to share the stage alongside SIX other Song of Atlanta quartets? Absolute magic. Seven quartets from one chorus — we’re so proud to represent!

We had such a fun weekend working on our contest set and learning some new music, too! 🎶 while Mary Lauren wasn’t able to make it this weekend (music teacher biz) we found a suitable substitute in Charlotte who can easily hit all those high tenor notes😍

*📣 on!* Watching all the amazing performances this past weekend at International has got us all sorts of excited and ready to ring more chords together!
Here’s a snippet of what was not only our first rehearsal together, but also our first COACHING session with the incomparable Queen Michelle Little! She helped us shape both of our songs and brought the artistry touch that she’s OH so good at!

Hi friends! We’re Spellbound Quartet!!✨
We’re four singers from along the East Coast, brought together by a shared love of barbershop harmony (and a little bit of magic!). Though we’re a long-distance quartet, the miles disappear when we sing together.
We’re proud to represent Region 14 Chapter-at-Large and Song of Atlanta, and we couldn’t be more excited to start this journey.
