I started this painting in my studio. It was such an amazing experience being there.

✨🌹This is a self portrait of me by a very talented and well known artist in my community. His name is John Glover. He is definitely one of the most down to earth artists that I’ve met in a long time. We are collaborating and I’m adding my regal spin to it. It’s truly an honor!

Most of the time you will catch me smiling, laughing or carrying a youthful glow. This painting is showing a side of me that most people rarely see. The unbothered, often exhausted young woman trying her best just to make it through the day, the best way that she can. A very honest depiction of my essence when I’m just being and not performing.

My painting, Titled: All Seeing Protecter💜🕊️

✨👁This painting is my interpretation of a Seraphim. There are 9 orders of angels and Seraphims are the closest entities that protect the throne of God. These beings have multiple eyes and wings. The duality ultimately challenges us as spiritual warriors to step into these realms of “fear” to experience discomfort for ultimate growth.🌱

What you see is not always as it appears and our ability to confront our fears/insecurities/uncomfortable emotions allows us to learn necessary lessons to absorb and share with our collective.✨🕊Seraphims could normally be described as erie, or even scary, but in actuality a serve as a purveyor of peace in higher realms.

I’ve really been fascinated with angels and demons lately. Also transmuting/confronting my own fears allowing myself to fully accept my light and darkness.. ☯️When experiencing a spiritual awakening there are a lot of smoke and mirrors. Things are not always as they appear and our ability to pivot our perspective would provide us with deeper, fuller parts of ourselves.

I’ve had a lot of fun with this painting. Using mixed media to add to the essence of this angel. It was my first time using rhinestones, gold leaf, textured gesso, and hanging beads from the bottom of my canvas. Adding these beads was so much fun. I think it looks both elegant and playful.
