A large portion of the United States is currently under Excessive Heat Warnings, Heat Advisories, or experiencing dangerous triple-digit temperatures.

Before shipping ANY live animal, please take a few extra minutes to check the weather for:
📍 Your location
📍 The recipient’s location
📍 Major FedEx hubs along the route

If temperatures are unsafe, wait. No shipment is worth risking the life of an animal. 🥵

If you absolutely must ship during warm weather, make sure you are using:

✅ Reptiles2You FedEx approved live animal shipping supplies

Don’t take shortcuts with packaging‼️⚠️

When in doubt, wait it out. The animals’ safety always comes first. 🐍🦎🐢

With the 4th of July holiday and HEAT ADVISORIES in effect across much of the United States, now is the time to take extra precautions when shipping live animals. We suggest holding off shipping anything LIVE, but if you must ⬇️

Monitor temperatures at:
• Your location
• The destination
• FedEx hubs (Memphis & Indianapolis)

🥵🥵 HEAT ADVISORIES ARE IN PLACE AT THE HUBS THIS WEEK‼️‼️

📦 We strongly recommend:
✅ Dropping your package off directly at an approved FedEx Ship Center instead of scheduling a FedEx pickup.
✅ Shipping Hold at Location to an approved FedEx Ship Center whenever possible to reduce time on a delivery vehicle.

❌ DO NOT SHIP ANY LIVE ANIMALS AFTER WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK.

❌ NEVER SHIP ANY LIVE ANIMALS FRIDAY OR SATURDAY

If a shipment is delayed beyond Wednesday, it could extend into the holiday period, and we will not be able to intervene or expedite the shipment until normal carrier operations resume.

The safety of your animals always comes first. If temperatures are unsafe or conditions are questionable, wait for a better shipping window. It’s always better to delay shipping than to risk the health of your animal.

Stay safe, ship smart, and thank you for helping keep your animals protected.

Everyone, be prepared!

The Reptiles2You team will be hitting the road to attend what many consider the “Super Bowl of Reptile Shows” — the Tinley Park Reptile Expo in Tinley Park, Illinois! 🦎🐍

Because our team will be traveling and working the show, all supply orders placed after 2:00 PM on Tuesday June 23rd will not ship until Monday, June 29th.

📦 Please plan ahead and order any supplies you may need NOW to avoid delays!

The good news is that Jess will be staying behind and available for customer service needs during this time.

⚠️ As always, our recommended shipping days are Monday through Wednesday (weather permitting) to ensure the safest transit for your animals.
