While Mekenzie was at the spa with her mom, Michael was setting up a venue in the Blue Ridge mountains — the proposal AND the wedding, same day. My job was to stay undercover: one guy with a camera and she'd have figured it out instantly. So I shot from a distance until she said yes… and stayed to photograph "I do" at sunset.
15+ years of weddings and this is still one of the boldest plans I've ever been trusted with.
