For years I thought I had the TEA on life. I came from a single parent home, father wasn’t in my life and I I thought living your best life was getting 💵, turning ⬆️, doing whatever I pleased. I was living the life, so I thought. I made it. I wasn’t in the gang 🩸life anymore. I survived. I made it. I wasn’t supposed to graduate high school. But I did. I made it. Joined the Marine Corps and was traveling the 🌎 . I made it. The bar had been reached.

This thought pattern made me FEEL(emotions) like I was the s**t and could do anything and would live forever, unless I was killed. Lol.
Now the thoughts and the emotions caused me to ACT in manner that resulted in me getting kicked out of the Marine Corps, fired from a Fortune 500 company and ultimately homeless. This same thinking also brought me within millimeters of losing my life.

Being alone on my death 🛏made take a long hard 👀 at what I had done with my life up to that point. It was an UNDENIABLE nothing. I was going to be remembered as ole crazy ass Ced. The dude who’s nickname was PSYCHO.

The new thought that entered was how can I help change the world. How can I make an impact? How can I become the 👨 I needed when I was young and be there for the younger generation? It started a 🔥 in me and made me understand that I had purpose. A mission. And that resulted in me becoming a certified health and life coach and now a speaker.

I now no longer allow old circumstances dictate who and what I am. I am no longer just a gang member who survived. I AM more!
