✨ Graduate Spotlight | Jenna Boone, Doctor of Musical Arts in Percussion Performance ✨

As we celebrate our graduating students participating in Disability Graduation on May 7, we’re proud to highlight Jenna Boone.

Jenna’s time at UT Austin has been nothing short of transformative. She has grown as a scholar, musician and teacher, and she leaves with deep gratitude for the mentors, peers and friends who supported her along the way.

Her involvement in the disability community shaped her in ways that extend far beyond the classroom, influencing how she thinks about music, teaching and what it means to create spaces where everyone belongs. The DCC’s Graduate Student Meet-Ups became one where she felt at home within the larger UT community.

Jenna is heading to Dallas next, and we’re so excited to see all that she accomplishes. Congratulations, Jenna, and happy Disability Graduation! 🧡
