Here's the latest from Point to Point Audio Designs: A 1974 Yamaha PM-1000 Custom side car console. With a modified preamp and EQ (and Cinemag output transformers to boot!), this beast is akin to old Neve style circuits. Bring on the electric guitar!

In my quest for the ultimate snare and guitar sound, I come across this: A replica of classic Trident A Range console preamp sections. That is Sowter input iron and Carnhill output. I shall build thee o god of transistor amplifiers.

Just finished a hand built API 2520 op amp. Two of these and two Melcor 1731 will be going into the quad mic pre that I have dubbed "TK4312."
