Austin High Varsity Cheer

We are so proud of our amazing 25-26 Cheer Captain, Bess Van Slyke! She has officially committed to the University of California Berkeley for cheer!! We are so proud of you !!! Go bears!! We can’t wait to see everything you accomplish!🐻 💙💛

Tuned in to watch and we scored a 91.6, placing 3rd virtually in our division—and based on scores, we would have placed 1st if we had competed in person (the in-person winner scored an 89.1)! We are beyond proud of this team and so thankful for every ounce of commitment and dedication that went into reaching our goal of placing top 3.

A huge thank you to our competitive coach; , for her time, dedication, and belief in us—helping build a routine we were confident in and taking us from regionals to a 3rd place finish at the Virtual National Championship. Thank you as well to Coach Morad for her constant support, the sacrifices she made for our team, and for being there at every football game and throughout competition season.
