How to find safer groceries:

1) avoid almost anything with a numbered produce sticker on it.

2) look for produce with imperfections (dark spots, minor discolorations, and even some dirt or evidence of bugs. (Weird I know, but it’s nature. And if a bug was on those veggies, and it survived, that’s a good sign.)

3) THE BEST WAY: know and support your local farmer. Make sure you are shopping at a REAL local farm store or buy direct. In this video we are shopping at that has been farming in Hempstead, TX for decades.
