Who’da think that 20+ years later my 16 year old son would find this in a box and deem it cool...? :)

Dear Broadwing friends,

It’s with a heavy heart that I share some very sad news. Broadwing alumnus Kristine Powell Jones, wife of Mike Jones, is in the hospital in critical condition. Mike’s explanation of her status and condition follows below.

There have been many people added to this timeline in the last couple of days, so here is a summary of what has happened.

We found Kris collapsed at 3AM Tuesday. I started CPR while the EMS folks came and we took her to the ER in Taos. They got her heart started and put breathing machinery on her. About 6:30 AM we got some eye pupil reaction, so we put her on the care flight to the CCU at St. Vincent in Santa Fe. Through the afternoon she was having seizures, but she eventually started breathing and her heart beating on their own.

She is currently not conscious and there is only faint activity on her EEG. Another EEG will be done on Friday. I am visiting every few hours and praying over her. She has very good medical help doing the best that they can.

The best way to help is to pray. Thank you all very much.

Theresa Gray wanted to make sure that the Broadwing family was aware of Dennis Gray's passing in October of 2010. I seem to recall hearing of that loss but couldn't find it on this page so wanted to share. We were such a tight family that it is always hard to hear sad news. Dennis is certainly missed.
