👨🔬 This is a great drill for WRs of all levels for 2 different reasons. First it teaches a WR how catch a planned back shoulder pass on a Go route when the DB is in front of them.
• Secondly and more common for WRs in the youth to high school level, it prepares WRs to catch a ball that is accidentally thrown behind them.
✏️ Cones about 15 yards apart, WR is running at about 50-60% effort, QB says ball at any point and the WR is dropping their foot, whipping their head and body, making the catch and staying in bounds.
