We are blessed and privileged to be collaborating with Q***r Vinyl Collective for Austin Studio Tour. Sundays are for VINYL SPINS, my friends! And this Sunday, we’ve got DJ ChaNaNa spinning all afternoon!

DJ ChaNaNa brings the heat with an eclectic crate of boogie, disco, and classic souldies that spans continents and generations. Whether spinning rare 45s or deep album cuts, ChaNaNa creates a sonic journey celebrating the universal language of rhythm.

Slow down with us on Sunday for smooth jazz and vinyl spins. Starting off our Sunday, we’ll be featuring the sweetest vocal stylings from Aly Rosa, accompanied by a killer jazz trio: Joshua Alderete on drums, Annie Nguyen on bass, and Aash Durg on guitar.

Aly Rosa is a Filipino-Puerto Rican vocalist. Raised in the Philippines, she began vocal training at seven years old with an emphasis on show-tunes. Her budding interest in vocalists such as Nina Simone, Nancy Wilson, and Blossom Dearie made her swoon over the passionate love songs and ballads in the jazz genre. She moved to Texas in 2020, residing in Austin for the last five years, and continues to pursue her passion for singing by performing jazz and hosting children’s birthday parties on the side as a “party princess”.

Aly is also one of the original founding members of Warren Records! Her contributions have been foundational for us as an organization and we are so grateful for all of the work she has put into helping us fulfill our mission of elevating Austin creatives. She now is working with ATX Artists for Social Impact - continuing the cause of utilizing art and music for the betterment of humankind.

Oooo, friends!! This is something we are so looking forward to. Roach + the Rat King is closing out the set on Saturday (tomorrow!!) and we cannot wait. Leone and their sibling, Roach, have an energy together that is indescribable but we’ll try. Songs of love, reflection, anger, reproach, forgiveness. Energetic ballads and dark hued pop songs. Fiona-Apple-flavored laments and growly siren yowls.

Roach and the Rat King are siblings who have survived the world by making and sharing art that saves each other’s life.

Their two-man band is the spill-out of a lifetime of this practice.

The roaches and rats will survive the fallout, because we have each other.

We don’t wanna be dramatic but goddammit let’s go back to the nineties and never look back. Listening to Scott Rives is like wrapping yourself in a blanket of grungy men full of feelings and flannel and not having a cell phone anymore. By which we mean, it’s delightful and angsty but in a hopeful way.

Scott Rives has been described as direct and soulful. Rives has built from his roots in Folk, Soul and Americana music to develop a talent comparable to the likes of Chris Stapleton or Jason Isbell. His unique take on these classic influences has made him an instant hit with audiences all over Austin. Don’t miss out on this powerhouse vocalist and incredible local talent.

So stoked for Scott’s set and also just happy to know him in general.

There is a secret institution here in Austin keeping the house show tradition alive and well. Silver Moon shows helped us to shape Warren Records in our infancy and we love the woman at the core of this house show series, dearly. She’s also a moving and emotional songwriter with a voice clear as a bell, soothing and lilting and soft and striking. We’re so lucky to have her grace the stage for our show this Saturday.

Juliet Goldstein is a singer whose raw, melody focused songwriting is shaped by Texas rivers, good dogs, and porch swings. Hailing from the border of Texas and Louisiana, her music is humid, haunted, and wrapped in a voice that is as tender as it is forceful.

We can’t wait for her set. Make sure not to miss it.
