Taking a break every now and then is part of wellness. Slowing down, reflecting, meditating, giving yourself space to breathe. Part of training / working out is the rest in between - which I have to remind myself of. Sometimes it feels easier to just keep pushing really hard. When in fact what you need is a break. A breather. As a single mom, it’s so rare that I feel like I get a real break. So I try to make the most of the time I do get.

You can’t take care of everyone else unless you take care of yourself. So do it. ☺️

Take time for yourself. Whether that’s an hour, a day or a week. A staycation or a vacation. The ocean or the mountains or the park. Whatever feeds your soul. Connect with nature. Ground. Surround yourself with people that make you laugh. Be silly.
