Babies born with congenital heart disease, or birth defects of the heart, benefit from being diagnosed before birth, but unfortunately most babies with severe cardiac defects are not detected on routine ultrasound exams. The Tiny Hearts Project training program is based on the proven strategy of offering training, both in the classroom and in hands-on sessions, to sonographers and physicians who perform prenatal sonography. Dr Helena Gardiner, a renowned pediatric cardiologist with a special interest in fetal heart screening, was a founder of the very successful β€œTiny Tickers" program in the UK. Tiny Hearts Project was fortunate to recruit her to be a co-founder of our program, bringing the expertise, evidence and experience to clinicians in the US.

We train the clinicians who are on the front lines of fetal imaging, when it matters most. Knowledge and confidence and in acquiring and interpreting the images in routine ob scans is what stands between a missed diagnosis and a life-changing one. We believe you can save a life with 5 essential views. Let us show you how!
