Peacemaking
When I embrace my wounds
And allow them to heal
I have no impulse to injure you
When I understand my desire to be lifted up
I refuse to tear you down
When I think rightly about myself
I need not make you wrong
And
When my cry for love opens my own heart's doors
I no longer close you out.

An Epiphany
Red River mountain side
Here I go again
skiing down your slope
the snowflake whispers
relax and enjoy
breathe in every moment
relax your toes
relax your shoulders
relax your arms
move your hips
bend your knees
then straighten them...
smile even when you are afraid
say to yourself
'Speed is Fun
With or without Fear
therefore Choose Fun over Fear'..... to be continued...
