42 Pressed

Two commissioned pieces by for a clients home she recently completed. These are letter-pressed using 6 separately designed plates all printed at different pressures on the press to produce a layering effect with the hand mixed green ink. Lots of registration which means moving the plate all around the bed of the press by hand to find what feels and looks best (slide 4 shows all of that and the two pieces that we landed on at the end)
