𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗟𝗶𝗗𝗔𝗥 | 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬

In 2020, Phoenix LiDAR entered a new phase of growth with the opening of our headquarters in Austin, Texas.

The move marked a major step by expanding our space by more than double, increasing our capacity for hands-on customer training, and providing closer access to field sites for real-world system testing and data acquisition.

With more room to build, test, and collaborate, the new facility allowed us to better support our customers and expand our training and integration capabilities.

In 2026, our Austin headquarters continues to serve as the hub for Phoenix LiDAR operations, training, integration, and innovation.

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗟𝗶𝗗𝗔𝗥 | 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲

In 2016, Phoenix LiDAR introduced the TerraHawk, the first fixed-wing VTOL UAV LiDAR system, built to map larger areas faster and more efficiently.

By combining the endurance and speed of a fixed-wing UAV with the flexibility of vertical takeoff and landing, TerraHawk made it possible to cover expansive areas while also protecting sensitive LiDAR equipment from rough landings.

With up to 80 minutes of flight time and the ability to map large-scale projects in a single mission, it opened new possibilities for applications that demand both range and efficiency.

A major step toward faster, safer, and more scalable aerial mapping.
