Our Story

Established in 2013, KEVIN KELLY DESIGN is a label services firm dedicated to helping independent artists and businesses.

I believe in a “One-Man Brand.” Creating a complete in-house experience, giving clients access to all tools and resources needed to create desired end user results, transforming hobbyists into career professionals using a Co-Active process that puts both client and Kevin Kelly Design in an equal collaboration effort.

During my career, it has been my job to manage day-to-day logistics for Blues Day Studio, Revvolt Records, and Kevin Kelly Design. Responsibilities included management, consultation, artist development, performance, technical training, graphic design, sound design, audio engineering, production, marketing, promotion, physical and digital distribution, web layout and administration, social media syncronization, merchandising, billing, sales, campaign management, studio procedures, A&R, booking, contractual agreements, copyrighting, composition, licensing, account management, creative direction, sourcing new clients, and bringing in projects on time and on budget.

I’ve had sessions for many of the best mass media companies in the world, including Viacom and Entertainment Media Partners and I have worked directly with local, national, and international talent including platinum recording artists Meat Loaf, Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys), John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival), Joe Walsh (James Gang, Eagles), Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures, Queens Of The Stone Age), Mick Mars (Motley Crue), Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie, The Cure), Eric Kretz (Stone Temple Pilots), The Flaming Lips, Ginger Fish (Marylin Manson, Powerman 5000, Rob Zombie), Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens Of The Stone Age, Mad Season), Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam), Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, Arctic Monkeys, PJ Harvey), Rob Dickenson (Catherine Wheel), and many others.

Today there is a need for an alternative to the traditional industry models, a need to remove the guesswork from the independent sector, and to find opportunities for new and creative artists to develop their careers. Kevin Kelly Design helps independent artists develop a higher level of organization to further their development by targeting and executing their needs in production, publicity, copyrighting, royalties, licensing, branding, marketing, promotion, public relations and some business management functions. Artists are unique in their own way and the ARTIST LAUNCH platform will help develop plans, which highlight those areas where each artist sets themselves apart from their competition.
