Join the Austin Chapter of Women Who Submit to connect with other local writers! We’re serious about writing and submitting and we love to support each other, work, laugh, chat, and share resources. All women and nonbinary writers welcome. Membership is free.

The Austin chapter meets to write, share information, and submit work upstairs at the Central Market Café 38th & N. Lamar, on the second Saturday of every month at 10am.

Women Who Submit is a national non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and non-binary writers by creating physical and virtual spaces for sharing information, and providing resources, workshops, grants, and publication opportunities to help them submit work and achieve greater equity in publishing.

And of course members sold books, and we talked a lot about submitting work. Many thanks to all who participated, including WWS-San Antonio member who drove up for the event. Special thanks to an Austin neighbor who offered her beautiful garden as a venue. What a day and what a community!
