Went anyway.
Did my first muscle up.
Feelings are temporary. Results are not.

I didn’t want to go today.
Not even a little bit.
But I had a commitment. Not to motivation. Not to a mood. To myself.
So I showed up anyway.
And today I did my first muscle up ever.
This is what nobody tells you about discipline: it doesn’t care how you feel. Feelings are visitors. They come, they crash on your couch for a while, and they leave. Discipline is the lease you signed with yourself long before they showed up.
The plan is what got me there. The commitment is what kept me there. The result is what happens when you stop waiting to feel ready.
You don’t find the version of yourself you’re proud of by waiting until you feel like it.
You build her one stubborn rep at a time.
Hitting your protein goal is not hard… it just requires simple math and some forethought.
Don’t over complicate it, find 3 meals you enjoy… calculate the macros and just rinse and repeat!
Make sure you always have the protein staples in your fridge:
- Eggs
- Greek Yogurt
- Whey Isolate
- Frozen fish, beef and chicken
