“Can you do it for free? It’ll be great exposure!”

Exposure doesn’t pay for paints.
It doesn’t cover insurance, supplies, travel, training, or the hours spent perfecting our craft.

Face painting is a skill, a business, and a service — not a hobby people should expect for free.

You wouldn’t ask a caterer for free food for exposure.
You wouldn’t ask a DJ to work a party for free for exposure.
Artists deserve the same respect.
