A Mothers Journey Part 3: Breaking the Loop

Support that follows him in—and doesn’t disappear when he’s out

She watched the same cycle repeat: hospitalization, medication, release, stopping meds, and then the spiral again—over and over. Each turn of the wheel brought fresh fear and exhaustion, with too little continuity from the outside.

Now, she knows her son has someone steady to talk to—someone who can encourage, listen, and uplift him through the confusion and pressure. With the Rabbi’s regular connection and trusted presence that can reach into the institutions themselves, she’s no longer relying only on sporadic updates or distant decisions—she has “eyes and ears” inside, and a consistent advocate beside her.
