Pro Tip: slabs of marble and porcelain are expensive, trust me I would know.. and not everyone has that baked into their budgets…. What you can do is pick a tile that has enough movement in the pattern and install them with no gaps. Then you can add a grout that matches and get a very seamless, slab looking install like we did here! It turned out beautifully! Also, please stop making your tv’s bigger than your fireplace inserts… it’s tacky 🙃😂. There’s one way where it makes sense to do so and I’ll show you a version in a future project, butaside that… stop it 😂😘.

A little sneak peak into one of my favorite rooms in this residence! Fun fact: when we first presented it, the husband did not love it but the wife and I stood our ground and kept the design. I am so glad I didn’t change a thing because this room became easily one of the top favorites for the couple once it started coming to life! So far, I have learned to stand behind the designs i present and trust my eye even if the client is hesitant. It always turns out to be their favorite room. So if you ever get to work with me, just know i tend to put my foot down and you’ll always be happier in the end 😂😂. Just trust me and the process… that’s all i ask. 🙏🏿🤍
