Today, our attorneys at Chesapeake Legal Alliance presented arguments to the Baltimore County Circuit Court in our petition for review of Maryland's Industrial Stormwater General Permit. This permit regulates the pollution coming off of nearly 300 industrial facilities in the Baltimore region alone, but it's not good enough to protect our streams, rivers, and Harbor; and it's not good enough to protect the people who live throughout our watersheds from that pollution.

CLA jointly represents BWB and Gunpowder Riverkeeper in this case. Our co-petitioners are Waterkeepers Chesapeake and Potomac Riverkeeper Network (represented by Environmental Integrity Project), and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
