Hosta's ( the white/purple and scallion shape veg. in the pan) adds a complex flavor to the onions and peppers mix here. From picking, washing, sautéing and devouring. I opted to fold this blend into a soft omelette, it's a very Satisfying meal, loaded with high vitamin A and C from the Hosta, which adds to the beta carotene in the orange and yellow peppers as well.

Vitamin A helps eye sight,(night vision in particular) and vitamin C helps with collagen and building cells as well as keeping back the scurvy lol! Scuvy is such silly word, don't get it!!
Thank you to my son, who shared this really good video on vitamins and their connected functions to the body.

Thank you Black Forager Nicole, I am not always able just after seeing something to have an immediate input. Here’s my thoughts briefly on this topic, which she eloquently presents in this video. Personally I don’t know that permits are the way to go, because will that curtail, select people who are going overboard for whatever reason, from continuing and still getting a permit. Those who are consciously aware, having to jump a hurdle, alongside those already in place.
I have an issue with lumping everyone to pay for the foolishness of others. The one who does the deed should pay for disrespecting a natural aspect of living, such as being able to have access to food, take care of our immediate environment and each other. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1650509666154500/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v

Hello neighbors and foraging friends,

We invite you to share your thoughts on a neighborhood-centered vision for the vacant lot at Pearl and Spruce Street (the old rail yard/lumber lot).

Sometimes, repeated disappointments can lead to despair, anger, and frustration. However, we heard encouraging ideas and thoughts for the future of the space during our survey walk. Changes often come from small, consistent efforts. Help us with this change and share your vision.

Below is the link to the survey. Thank you for contributing to this effort.
