Thank you for your tremendous support over these past nine months. It is truly humbling to see the campaign that we built together and to work alongside so many people that care about our community. From the beginning, this was a positive campaign focused on keeping the Cape & Islands a safe place to live for all our families. I am proud of the way we ran our campaign. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

The role of the District Attorney is professional, not political. The job is public safety. Last night, when the numbers did not come together, I called my opponent, Mr. Galibois, to concede the race and congratulate him. I wish him success moving forward. We all want to keep the Cape & Islands a safe place to live.

Thank you to everyone who supported me during this campaign. From the men and women who serve this community in the DA’s office, to the many members of the legal community, to the law enforcement organizations across the Cape. Thank you all for your support, the work that you do, and the good work you will continue doing to serve our Cape & Islands.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who joined us on our trip across the Cape today. We held standouts all the way from Orleans to Mashpee. Thank you to everyone for the honks, waves, and thumbs up! A special thank you to Governor Charlie Baker for holding a sign with the rest of Team Higgins today. Thank you all for your continued support.
