Our Story

Since its inception in 1976, JJManning Auctioneers has been engaged in the marketing and sale of real and personal property at public auction, throughout America. During this period, the multi generation firm (begun by Jerome J. Manning, CAI, AARE) has conducted thousands of auctions totaling more than $4 Billion Dollars for private individuals, corporations, financial institutions, government agencies and others.

JJManning has won numerous national awards for auction marketing excellence. The firm specializes in the auction sale of non-distressed, unique and "trophy" commercial and residential real estate. We have successfully conducted important real estate auctions across America but focus on the Northeast US.

Justin J. Manning joined the family firm fulltime in 1993 after graduating with a degree in Marketing from Babson College. Justin has served as lead auctioneer, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Marketing in his tenure. He has managed many of the firm’s 16,000+ successful real estate auctions during his 25+ year career. Justin’s largest transaction was the successful auction sale of Burlington Woods in Burlington, MA for $33,000,000 to the Davis Cos. He is licensed to sell real estate conventionally but concentrates exclusively on the auction method of sale of both commercial & residential property.
