Prairie State Petals

I’ve never grown sweet potatoes before, but this year I’m giving it a whirl. I was tempted to buy plants from a reputable seed company, but in the spirit of using what I have, (and working to shift the mindset from needing more to having enough) I’m trying to grow my own from a potato I already have. If all goes well, one sweet potato can produce 6-12 slips, or new plants. I’ll also be trying another method of slicing lengthwise and setting them in soil. Stay tuned for progress!
