Canstruction Corporate just released the winners of the 2025 NATIONAL Canstruction Competition. Take a look at these winning exhibits- true works of art showcasing ingenuity, a passion for the cause and superior workmanship!

There will be a winner in each category at the 2027 Tri-Cities Canstruction event and exhibit and those selected will go on to this national competition. This is going to be fun!

A big thank you to Waubonsee Community College for hosting our inaugural event in 2027.

Our website is Under Canstruction” but coming soon! We will be accepting entries online when the site is LIVE. That has not stopped 3 design teams from committing and 3 more from inquiring and starting the search for an architect or engineer to do the same.

In the meantime we are working on our list of canned food options that teams will be able to purchase in bulk. To do so, we are looking at grocery shelves, not to decide what’s for dinner, but imagining what can we create with these colorful lids and labels!

There are 29 dedicated food pantries in Kane County. Giving is generous during the holidays but what happens when they are over and we settle in to a Midwest winter? Hard to imagine in summer heat but we are preparing to help in February 2027 with Tri-Cities Canstruction!

Visit the Museum February 1-16* for Canstruction Milwaukee, a showcase of amazing sculptures made of at least 1,000 canned and non-perishable food items, all created by teams of local leaders in architecture, engineering, and construction. Take a look at this behind-the-scenes video of last year's showcase. All the food used to create these sculptures will be donated at the conclusion of the exhibition, which is FREE with admission!
